Most amazing landscapes
I open this thread to ask the community which are for you the most beautiful places in GW to take a screenshot of your characters.
Please send your opinione about that.

SGTO pretty much just posted all the places I wanted.
I'd probably even add the Jade Sea, but nothing can really compare to RoT.

Right here:
I do wish I'd taken time to position my character in the shot, but I was getting 5fps or so at the time...

The entire Echovald Forest. Too lazy to take a screenshot so here's a google images link with some screenshots.

Epic agreement on RoT. Not so much the Domain of Anguish, but Domain of Fear is beautiful to me(there is a calming quality to it). Other than that, the North Kryta Province and various areas you can see Galrath's Castle from afar are art pieces.

Grothmar Wardowns, looks like. Down the hill directly east of Longeye's Ledge, just a little north of the blackened battlefield.

Right you are. Far side of the creek heading southeast from Longeye's and facing northwest-ish.

Personally, I love the view from Unwaking Waters (Luxon) where you can see the Echovald Forest all misty like in the background. (Screenshot GW075) And also, there's a zone in Kourna (can't remember the name of it) where there are Windmills that look like Eagles (Screenshot GW046). Lastly, the ledge right behind Nicholas Sandford in Pre-Searing. (Screenshot GW067)

Once I can get onto my other computer I'll post some pictures. Though now that everybody has them without their character in them, makes me feel out of place. Anyways, I have my own little list of places that I like... somwhere. I know Grothmar Wardowns is on it though, that place is like too beautiful.

That is why I like Saltspray Beach - it has that similar hybrid look. And
BMP format please! Things look way better when taking screenshots in that. I don't see how people don't notice the differences. Just look at any JPEG's chat text and skill icons - loss of saturation.
I have over 15gb of screenshots... I know, I have to weed them down.

Here are a few of my favorites. MY GPU really sucks, so the screen shots are mostly low detail level. I'm sure they'd look even better in high res detail.

It should, but it shouldn't.
As there is already a thread in Screenshot Expo for this very thing: http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...php?t=10072542

I don't have screenies for it but go to the top of anvil rock with a good video card. Hell the whole shiverpeaks is pretty cool looking, especially the "snakedance" part of snake dance and spearhead peak, and around where the summit mine it. look down into sorrows furnace from the ledge it looks pretty cool.
Also, they did a pretty good job animating the lava around the ring of fire.
And I'm probably the nly one who actually likes running around kaineg city and it's underworks. All my allies and guildies get lost in there but I seem to find my way easily, and the layered terrain is impressive. Even the sewer areas, with those giant pipes spewing tons of bilge into a chasm...
